Programmes for young people

Participatory and creative sessions for small group interventions, with young people aged 11-18, based in London.

I create programmes bespoke to the context and needs of each group of young people, often starting with a focus group session. Programmes are a minimum of three and up to twelve sessions, in order to build trust and rapport.

I draw on ten years of experience and research into RSE and PSHE topics. I use participatory methods and and an arts based approach to explore these areas that are typically neglected in mainstream education, but essential for young people’s development and wellbeing.

Example sessions

A programme might include a combination of the following:

  • Building self-esteem and confidence.

  • Understanding and communicating difficult emotions.

  • Managing stress, anger, anxiety and overwhelm.

  • Gender norms and how they impact us.

  • The anatomy, menstrual cycle and sexual health.

  • Developing values for healthy relationships.

  • The anatomy, menstrual cycle and sexual health.

  • Communicating desires, boundaries and consent.

  • Challenging discrimination in school and beyond.
